When I was young, I was afraid of water, whether that was swimming pools or the sea. Once I started doing swimming lessons, I soon found how much fun can be had while swimming.
Eventually I became part of a club, and found some of my best friends today. As well as friendship, I gained team work skills, discipline, focus, competitiveness, and an immense love for sport and fitness to name a few.
In my time I have swam for London at the ESSA, and the London boroughs of Southwark and Lewisham. I also competed in at the British swimming age group championships and the national arena league finals.
My background naturally led to giving back to my club and teaching the next generation of swimmers, where I have learnt a tremendous amount so far.
I aim to continue to do the same at Urban Swim Academy.
