Urban Swim Academy offers FREE assessments for all swimmers 3+ years of age. It’s a quick 5 – 10 minute one on one swim with one of our experienced coaches to help place them into the appropriate swim level. Follow the steps below!
STEP 1
Choose your preferred location from the filters on the assessment booking page. Please note, the venue of your assessment does not determine where your lessons will take place. To see all of our current swimming pools, click here.
For sibling assessments, please book in each child so we know how many to expect and we can cater accordingly.
The assessment will take 5-10 mins depending on the age and swim level. If you have some useful information or swim times for us prior to the assessment, we’d love to hear from you to make sure you are matched with the best coach for your child. ie. Squad swim coaches for advanced swimmers or Disability swim coaches for special needs. Drop us a note on WhatsApp or give us a call!
STEP 2
Please bring your child/ren already changed in their swimming costume ready to swim. They are welcome to bring a cap and goggles if they are comfortable swimming with them.
Arrive 5 mins before your assessment time to give yourself time to find the pool, find your coach and get ready to swim! The swim coach will assess the swim level against our own curriculum of swim skills. This varies from swim club to swim club and is the secret sauce to our success!
STEP 3
Once the swim coach has confirmed your swim level, you can go ahead and book a swim class at the location, day and time that suits you through our booking page! Remember to use the filters to find the best options to suit your needs.
