Katie, a Bermuda-born triathlete with Scottish and New Zealand roots, has been a Dubai resident since 2006. Her competitive background in swimming and triathlon led to a passion for teaching. After completing Swim England 1 and 2,she earned a BSc and MSc in Sports Science from Loughborough University.

As an assistant coach for the university’s Distance and Para Swimming squads, Katie contributed to the success of multiple Olympic and Commonwealth medalists. She also coached Para Swimming for NPC Team Malta and led their team at the 2023 World Championships.

Now an elite cyclist, Katie remains dedicated to inspiring others to embrace a healthy lifestyle and achieve their athletic goals. Her experience in elite-level sports underscores the importance of consistent effort and personal growth, rather than solely focusing on rankings.
