Robyn’s swimming journey began at just four years old after she fell into a pool at home. Thankfully, she was saved by her T-shirt, and the experience inspired her family to make sure she became a confident and capable swimmer from an early age.

By eight, Robyn was competing in pool swimming, and at nine she completed her first open-water event. Since then, she has competed extensively in pool and open-water swimming, as well as lifesaving, representing South Africa at both national and international level.

Robyn has also taken part in numerous charity swims, raising funds and awareness for children’s cancer. Now, having moved from South Africa to join Urban Swim Academy, she is excited to begin her next chapter in Dubai, focusing on squad swimmers and adults while sharing her passion and experience with the next generation of swimmers.
