Alphonsie, affectionately known as Nanah to all, has been swimming since an early age and more recently as a professional swimmer representing Rwanda at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro and 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Nanah is passionate not only about swimming, but also about teaching swimming. She believes swimming skills are so important for safety but can also be fun and learnt at any age and any time.

Nanah teaches Learn to Swim children and Adults.

• 2015 – FINA Swimmers Technical Course for Beginners
• 2017 – General Orientation Coaches Training, Special Olympics
• 2022 STA International Lifesaving Course for Swimming Teachers
